Our Mission

Pair It Forward Foundation raises funds to help middle-income and subsidized families access neurological and development-related services for their children. We aim to support the families who absorb the high costs of ongoing therapy, clinic-based services, and resources, who do not qualify for full financial assistance. Our goal is to help reduce accessibility barriers so that more children can receive meaningful and timely support to reach their full potential.

WHAT WE DO
Our Commitment to the Community
We aim to provide financial and educational support to families with neurodiverse children through different programming and funding opportunities.
Autism Funding
Helping eligible families access financial assistance for autism-related services as early as possible.
Clinic-Based Services
Supporting access to therapy and intervention programs offered through qualified clinics and providers.
Family Resources
Helping families access tools, education, and resources that support their child’s development.
Neurological Disorder Funding Support
Creating pathways for neurodiverse children to participate, learn, communicate, and thrive.
Why It Matters

1
Therapy Costs
Add Up Quickly
Families may face hundreds of dollars in fees for assessments, therapy sessions, and support programs.
2
Families Are Falling Through the Cracks
Middle-income families may not qualify for enough funding but still struggle to afford consistent services.
3
Support Creates Opportunity
Financial assistance can help children access services that support communication, learning, confidence, and growth.

Ask-A-Therapist Coffee Chat
Speech & Occupational Therapy
Civic Centre Resource Library
The Pair It Forward Foundation hosted an Ask-a-Therapist Coffee Chat at the Civic Centre Resource Library, bringing families and community members together for an opportunity to connect with speech-language and occupational therapy professionals in a welcoming, informal setting.
The event was designed to make information about therapy services more accessible, giving attendees the opportunity to ask questions, learn about the roles of speech-language and occupational therapists, and gain a better understanding of how these services can support children and families in their everyday lives.
By creating a relaxed space for conversation, we hoped to make it easier for families to explore their questions, learn about available supports, and feel more confident navigating their therapy journeys.
At the Pair It Forward Foundation, we believe that access to information and community connections can make a meaningful difference. This initiative reflects our ongoing commitment to helping families feel informed, supported, and connected to the resources available to them.
